Science fiction movies usually show scenes of the future or imaginary world, where the specific environments are totally digitized. For example, The Giver (2014). Today, we’ve already got different elements, which could help us build such environments in future. They are smart house, building automation system and special Samsung project—the Smart UX Center—connecting the Internet of Things’ devices at the office and organizing the seamless office ecosystem using mobile technologies. This results in improving workflows, simplifying and speeding up paperwork management.

Everybody has even for once in a life seen little injured dogs without hind legs having to move on a platform with little wheels. It makes the angels weep, especially for a tender-hearted impressionable person. This news came from India, where a waterfowl had lost its leg. Volunteers at the Ramakrishna Mission in a Rajahmundry town have found an unusual way to help the duck. The thing is that wings make the use of crutches impossible. That’s why the volunteers connected to a startup company 3Ding to try and produce a 3D-printed replacement leg.

Earlier this year, we’ve already told you about the problems caused by lack of printer security protection. Printers could be used by hackers and just prankers for their purposes. The printers with the gaps in security could be infected with malware and send alerts and emails to system administrators, spam emails, documents printed earlier. MFPs with fax lines could call premium number. Or like it was with the discovered by Symantec in 2010 Trojan.Milicenso—the infected devices printed unintelligible jobs until they ran out of paper. Of course, it’s not fatal, but not right and could be prevented.
