This week, Epson has announced the launch of its new printer—the PictureMate PM520—which continues the brand’s successful lineup of compact on-demand inkjet photo printers. The previous models PM245 and PM100 were specially designed for home use, but due to their fine features the models became popular on the instant photo printing market (among photo studios and tourist photographers).

On September 26-28, one of the broadly known 3D printing tradeshows—TCT Show—will take place in Birmingham, UK. This significant event will gather 3D printer producers from everywhere with their latest gadgets. Finnish 3D printer manufacturer miniFactory and Italian Sharebot have already applied for participation.
In the beginning of September, Brother International Australia has introduced its digital direct-to-garment printers with the new Brother GTX model. The new gadgets feature next generation printheads providing multiple capabilities for efficient printing on different types of media resulting in high quality prints at production level speeds.
It’s hard to believe how expensive it was recently for commercial printers to produce high-quality output on the offset coated paper! Inside of just printing, one needed to pre-or-post coat ordinary paper or to purchase specialty inkjet coated paper. But now with the introduction of the new Xerox High Fusion Ink the problem will be eliminated. This ink possesses special formula allowing to optimize printing and drying on offset coated media including matte, silk and even glass stock from 60 to 250 gsm (and it also works with a range of uncoated media).
