Recently this month, Xerox has launched two new color printer models for small office environments—Xerox Phaser 6510 and Xerox WorkCentre 6515 (MFP)—both continuing the company’s famous printer lineups. The characteristic features of the models are 1) their multiple mobile connectivity, 2) new formula of the toner and 3) enterprise-level features available in the low-end segment machines.
1. The printers provide Wi-Fi Direct connectivity making printing from mobile phones and tablets secure. They possess Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Xerox Print Service Plug-In for Android and Mopria making mobile printing available and easy from any device with any OS.
2. Xerox has used a new formula of a toner in these two models. Super-Fine EA toner delivers high-quality detailed printjobs both in color and black/white. It allows small businesses to print brochures and graphics on-site without sacrificing colour quality and accuracy.
3. And to build a complete picture: the printers’ monthly duty cycle is 50,000 pages, they can print with up to 30 pages per minute with a resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi and scan of up to 37 two-sided impressions per minute. The Xerox WorkCentre 6515 MFP together with all has a 5-inch user-friendly touchscreen with scan preview and editing features, intuitive navigation and the ability to customize workflows.
Both the models are already on the shelves and their suggested retail price of CDN is $399 for the Xerox Phaser 6510 printer and $559 for the Xerox WorkCentre 6515 MFP.
