Many offices nowadays have to spend much time before they find a brand and a printer that will exactly match their needs. In some cases the problem is in too little functionality—and then they have to outsource some jobs, in other cases—too many idle functions which accompany much occupied office space and wasted money. Recently this year, Brother has renewed its lineup of MFC inkjet printers and launched an MFP which is a potentially indispensable office gadget overcoming all the above mentioned problems.

The Brother MFC-J5330DW was being tested in small and medium sized office environments and has shown excellent results in many aspects:

– print, scan, copy and fax capabilities,

– 150-sheets A4 paper tray,

– A3-sized paper feeder for printing (it also can manage A5 booklets, and A4 pages can be laid in a portrait orientation for desktop place economy),

– a 50-page ADF (automatic document feeder),

– fast duplex printing,

– 35 ppm print speed for monochrome pages,

– print resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi allowing to print vibrant near-professional photos on the 4A photo paper,

– crisp text printed in a bold pigmented black with smooth characters and without smearing,

– Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity,

– the free Brother iPrint & Scan app (providing mobile printing with no need of a router),

– Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint – for cloud printing and scanning,

– 2.7-inches user-friendly touchscreen,

– 4 ink cartridges, easily loaded and separately dispensed via a front flap,

– high-yield XL cartridge cost around $26,

The Brother MFC-J5330DW is already on the shelves and retails at around $235.
