ricoh-logoRecently, Ricoh has launched two new fabric printers providing advanced functionality for faster, easier and more flexible apparel printing. The RICOH Ri 3000 / Ri 6000 allow to start printing a pattern on a cloth in two clicks thanks to intuitive software and to do it very quickly thanks to 27 seconds print speeds. Moreover, they are Direct to Garment (DTG) gadgets meaning that they are specially designed to print on ready-made clothes and things like shirts, socks, canvas grocery bags, and they even can produce metallic foil applications.

According to the company’s representative, the new models are geared towards standalone garment printing businesses as well as those companies who want to expand their print portfolio. To this contribute Ricoh industrial-grade self-cleaning and self-maintaining ISO-certified printheads rated at 100 billion actuations for higher output. They provide reliable production of both high-volume orders and custom one-off prints.

The both models print on big variety of materials including natural fibers, light poly and dark garments with up to 50/50 blends. The improved formula of water-based inks (together with white ink for printing color prints on dark garments) deliver high-quiality (of 600 dpi) long-lasting vibrant designs.

The Ricoh Ri 3000 / Ri 60000 are sold via AnaJet, with limited availability via Ricoh sales channels.
