Canon Pixma MX492: Great Functionality And The Essentially Smaller Size

On the 5th of January, Canon U.S.A. has announced the renewal of its Pixma line. A new model—MX492—is 30 percent smaller than its predecessor and possesses wide range of functions including advanced wireless capabilities and superb quality of the output. The printer is aimed for home and small offices as well as students’ dormitories being space-saving and not compromizing on functionality.

This inkjet all-in-one printer will help to fullfill all the everyday printing tasks from printing borderless images and photos to especially crisp text and documents. The model is equipped with automatic document feeder (ADF), fax and scanner (with the availability to send scanned and faxed documents directly by email).

A four-color hybrid ink system together with the print speeds of 8.8 images per minute (ipm) in black/white mode and 4.4 ipm in color (according to ISO/IEC speed measurement methods) provide fast continuous and high-quality printing.

The Pixma MX492 provides wireless connection via Wi-Fi (supporting Apple AirPrint and Access Point Mode for direct connection, bypassing the network), features Canon’s Pixma Printing Solutions (PPS) for access the content from cloud services like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc., without a computer.

The printer is designed in black and white, and its retail price is $99.995.
