Samsung Smart MultiXpress: First MFPs powered by Android

Samsng Android-Powered MultiXpress Printers

Samsung has introduced its new line of MFPs during the IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany—a trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. The Korean devices are powered in fact by tablet PCs, providing their work. And the OS Google Android is installed on them. All the gadgets feature a 10-inch touchscreen, which allows to print directly from web browsers, email clients and so on as well as to edit and preview the printing document right here.
Smart MultiXpress includes 3 lines of machines:

  1. X4300 — A3 color MFPs, represented by X4300LX, X4250LX and X4220RX models with the print speed of 30, 25 and 22 ppm correspondingly. The devices support Dual-Scan ADF technology for the amazing speed of scanning of up to 100 pages in duplex color mode and to 120 pages in duplex monochrome mode;
  2. K4350 — A3 monochrome MFPs, represented by K4350LX, K4300LX and K4250RX with the print speed of 35, 30 and 25 ppm correspondingly and Dual-Scan ADF technology with the above mentioned print speed;
  3. M4580 — A4 monochrome MFPs, represented by M4580FX and M4583FX, providing printing of 45 pages per minute and scanning of 60 duplex B/W pages per minute through Dual-Scan ADF.

The price of the smart Samsung Smart MultiXpress printers hasn’t yet been announced.
