New HP MFP Simplifies Wireless Printing

By launching of its new printer Hewlett-Packard tried to make printing from mobiles with OS Android more simple. Recently announced wireless HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476 narrows down the whole printing process to one touch of a button by supporting Andriod 4.4. “KitKat”. The device is designed for small and medium-size business clients for BYOD (bring your own device) environment, which quickly gains broad popularity and due to it needs special solutions.

It’s the first printer, which is Mopria global-certified (meaning that it’s up to a standard for easy mobile printing). Canon, Xerox and Samsung take part in this alliance as well, and more new gadgets with this certificate are expected to appear in the nearest future.

The novelty will replace the previous model M475. A user can sent a print job to a printer with the help of Mopria plug-in, which is compatible with all the models of all the developers, so there is no need for installing special apps for every type of a device. HP M476 supports such kinds of printing as near-field communications (NFC), wireless direct, HP ePrint and HP AirPrint.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476 with 3,5 inches touch screen possesses scanning, copying and faxing functionality. Another great advantages of the model are duplex printing and scanning and the availability of remote control. Every of 4 CMYK cartridges has 1200 pages capacity. The approximate price of the machine is $529.
