Almost all the people stay kids in some aspects, that’s why, I think, we love different gadgets—printers, smartphones, MP3-players—they are like toys. Sometimes the buying of such a thing is purposeless and dull instead of just playing with it till we find out how it operates. But in other cases such things can be useful.

About half a year ago, four brands had joined their efforts to represent a new project Yuniku producing custom 3D printed eyeglass frames. The Japanese word Yuniku means unique what have determined the main aim of the project—with the help of 3D printing technology to bring true mass customization to a luxury consumer-grade product.

I think, almost everyone has some history with the computer devices. Somebody still stores in a backroom an old printer-scanner-copier with rather costly cartridge which after buying new furniture occupies too much place. The other doesn’t want to throw away a mammoth-like old desktop as in some decades it will be a rarity.

Frame from the music video
The Canadian indie rock band Young Rival is famous for creative non-standard music videos to their songs. For example, the video on the song “Two reasons” shows different people vividly mimicking with fancifully painted bodies and faces. Their new song “Elevator” (though released in 2015) has got its music video only now due to special production conditions—the video was done on a dot matrix printer.
