Earlier this year HP has launched two new ink-jet models: an OfficeJet Pro 276dw MFP and a 251dw printer. According to the manufacturer, they are produced right for the companies, which need budget-friendly and reliable solutions for wireless and remote printing. Both devices support wireless connection and shared access from PCs, notebooks, tablets and mobile devices even without a network or router – via HP ePrint.
It may seem doubtful that an ink-jet machine will manage a tough office workflow and won’t cost a pretty penny, but these new HP gadgets are really fast, deliver qualified printouts and use cost-effective cartridges.
HP Officejet Pro 276dw and 251dw speed up to 20 pages/min (ISO standard) in monochrome mode and up to 15 pages/min in color. Their monthly duty cycle is 30 000 pages. Print speed in a draft mode reaches 32 pages/min. Moreover, according to HP, these models’ energy and ink consumption is 50% lower than that of a color lasers in this price range, and due to the automatic duplexing paper consumption is 50% lower too.
Both gadgets could easily deal with large print jobs thanks to an additional input tray, expanding the total capacity up to 500 pages, and to original high-yield HP cartridges, which provide the printing of the 2300 black/white and 1500 color pages without replacement.
276dw MFP and 251dw printer possess numerous functions and tools for managing the printing process and are equipped with business-applications, available through the interface with the touchscreen display (4.3″ color graphics).
The other advantages of these models are advanced mobile printing capability (HP ePrint, HP ePrint Mobile Apps, Google Cloud Print, Business Applications, HP ePrint Wireless Direct, Apple AirPrint™), various supported media sizes and types, stylish and rather compact design. All this makes the both models perfect match for the office and a strong competitor for the laser printers and MFPs of the same price.
