In the end of March, Xerox has introduced one of its largest new product launches made within the strategy to move about half of the business from mature to growth markets. The introduction included 29 gadgets which are ConnectKey enabled and feature mobile and cloud connectivity. Their main goal is to set the page free and help the world communicate and connect.
The 29 devices are represented with the Xerox VersaLink and Xerox AltaLink series. The VersaLink lineup consists of 19 printers and MFPs and gear towards small workgroups and distributed teams. The AltaLink lineup includes 10 MFPs specially designed for large workgroups and print volume requirements.
Among the advantages of the new Xerox printers there are an intuitive, customizable user interface, one-touch access to the cloud, personalized workflows and, of course, a consistent user experience and multilayered security. All of this is important to a printer which puts easy and secure mobile printing from any device and location first.
Trying to reach this goal, Xerox provides its channel partners and customers with the template-based Personalized App Builder to create their own apps as well as the App Gallery with the broadest range of customized and off-the-shelf apps for different purposes (information apps, support apps, app to manage workflows).
The new Xerox printers and MFPs are available worldwide in the second quarter.
