Brother, an international corporation and one of the world leaders in producing multiplying equipment, has launched a new line of color laser printers of the HL-L8000 series and the MFPs of the MFC-L8000 series. These devices aim to provide quick, convenient and mobile color printing for small work groups of small and medium-sized businesses.

Among the pleasant features of the printers (HL-L8250CDN, HL-L8350CDW, HL-L8350CDWT) and MFPs (MFC-L8600CDW, MFC-L8850CDW) we should name 32 ppm print speed and wireless printing capabilities, provided from smartphones and tablets via AirPrint™, Google Print™ as well as Wi-Fi Direct®.

MFC-L8850CDW makes a decent office helper due to its multiple functions and special offers. Firstly, it can work as a standalone fax, copier, printer and scanner, the advanced functions are available also when connected to a PC. The speed is very high (32 ppm) in both color and monochrome modes.

To the specialties we’d add a 50-sheet ADF (automatic document feeder) that supports single-pass scanning, faxing and copying of two-sided and multipage documents. Standard paper capacity is split between a 250-sheet main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. There is an optional 500-sheet tray, available under $249.99.
With the addition of a maximum monthly duty cycle of 60,000 sheets and an office-suitable quality of the output the cost of the MFP is rather fair— $599.99.
