The renewal of lineups takes place very often. The producers apply new technologies and improve the design of their products. Earlier this summer Canon has launched two new models of scanners: CanoScan LiDE 120 and 220. They both will replace the previous models (CanoScan LiDE 110 and 210) and appear on the shelves under the same price as they predecessors. The new gadgets look almost the same judging by the exterior, but for the new button on their front. The E-mail button became the Send button, which allows sending the scanned documents not only to e-mail, but also to a cloud (using services like Evernote or Dropbox).
Both scanners are budget-friendly and cost 70$ and 90$ correspondingly. The exceedingly high resolution of scanning of 2,400 dpi in LiDE 120 and 4,800 dpi in LiDE 220 together with grain correction and automatic correction of dust and scratches guarantee the perfect quality of the images and output. Other buttons allow high speed coping, automatic document scanning, scanning to PDF. LiDE 220 also has the Multipage PDF scanning button. The machines as well support scanning of thick books and provide an upright orientation scanning, what broadens their functionality.
